a 在第一次發生性行為直到44歲期間有一個性伴侶的組別中，人們感染HPV的機率為58.4%¹
b 約70%口咽癌與HPV感染有關²
c 根據2021年醫管局癌症資料庫顯示，男性頭頸癌(唇，舌，涎腺，口腔，扁桃體、口咽，下咽，其他口腔未列明部位，鼻腔、中耳及副鼻竇，喉)新症個案佔整體約2/3³
d 在巴西，墨西哥及美國18-70歲數男士中， 男性生殖器官HPV感染的盛行率高達65.1%⁸
e 有性經驗男女一生中平均有80%機率感染HPV，大部分HPV感染可自行清除，但持續感染可導致相關癌症¹²
